SCRIPT, TREATMENT & SCREENPLAY

Believe your book would make a great movie, television series, short film, film festival or web series?  Get Me Seen is an industry-standard tool used for identifying viable new material—it's the most cost-effective way to find out.

GET ME SEEN PACKAGE - SCRIPT

Once your “Get Me Seen” is complete, we will submit it through our partner Ahava Entertainment, who will review your work as a potential adaptation to submit for film and television.  Ahava Entertainment  is an entertainment company providing representation for your short film, TV show, web series, book, pilot script, movie, or screenplay.

The Process

A professional screenwriter will work to develop your book’s coverage, a standard format in the movie and TV industry. Your coverage will consist of two main elements:

  • A thorough synopsis that highlights the main characters and events in your story

  • A critical analysis that addresses key story points as well as how your book might be best adapted for the screen

If after reviewing your "Get Me Seen" Ahava Entertainment decides not to engage on your project, a concise synopsis and critical analysis of your book will be placed into our Hollywood Database, giving access to agents, directors, actors and producers. As an alternative to knocking on the doors of Hollywood agents or cold calling production companies, this service gives you legitimate access to entertainment decision-makers.

SELL THE SCRIPT - TREATMENT

Your book has all the elements Hollywood wants—an exciting plot, well-developed characters and fresh content—yet there’s still a crucial piece you need in order to be taken seriously by established entertainment executives.

"Sell The Script" is a thoroughly developed guide that outlines how a screenwriter would adapt your book into a fully-developed screenplay. As the framework used to transform your work into another medium, "Sell The Script" is the first step to drafting a screenplay. Not only does it provide the structure for the screenplay, it also ensures that you and your screenwriter are on the same page regarding the direction your story is taking.

Defining exactly how a screenwriter is going to approach the adaption of your book, you eliminate work for agents, studios and producers. By giving them a shortcut to the essence of your book, you can clearly demonstrate that your book has what it takes to succeed on the silver screen.

The Process

  • From our network of screenwriters, we’ll match you with the one who best complements your book’s story and genre

  • Your professional screenwriter will provide a thorough five to ten-page treatment detailing how he or she plans to adapt your book’s manuscript into a film and/or television screenplay

  • Once your coverage is prepared, Ahava Entertainment will review it and to assess whether or not your concept is fit for adaptation by submitting your treatment to our contacts in over 75 Hollywood studios, networks, distributors, agencies, management and production companies

  • If Ahava Entertainment is interested in working with you, they will contact you directly and explain their plan of action to gauge your interest.

  • If Ahava Entertainment chooses not to engage on your concept, we’ll enter your treatment into our Hollywood Database giving access movie and television writers, agents, directors and producers.
