Book Doctoring

Prerequisite: LOVE Lifestyle Publishing Pre-Publishing Developmental Edit

Following the advice of an editor takes time and consideration.  Pre-Publishing Developmental Edit often requires the author to rewrite and or reorganize their manuscript to improve the material. Hiring a book doctor may be the best choice for authors who don't have the time or ability to make the big-picture changes recommended by a developmental editor.

A book doctor makes the necessary changes recommended by the developmental editor and approved by the author.  A price quote for the book doctor will be provided with the completed developmental edit.

After completion of Book Doctoring, Content Editing and a Quality Review will be provided at no extra cost.

Timing: Estimate based on work required and detailed through the Pre-Publishing Developmental Edit.

*There is a 5,000-word minimum charge for all editing services.

**Please note: LOVE Lifestyle Publishing  accepts a very low margin of error in each completed edit –  no more than three percent of the total errors found. Our professional editorial staff reviews each editorial service for quality assurance. Upon reviewing your edited manuscript, if you believe that an unsatisfactory number of errors remain, please create a list of the errors and the page numbers on which they appear and email it to editorial@lovelifestylepublishing.com We will review the list with you and address your concern.
